Lord Shiva was suspicious of Ravana's word. And Shiva said to Ravana that you take this gender of mine to Lanka. But remember one thing, if you put it at some place on the way, then this sex will be established. Ravan went to Lanka after listening to Lord Shiva. Shiva's leela appeared to have an effect on Ravana. On the way from Shiva's illusion Ravana wishes to emit urine. Ravana did not want to stay in the middle way. So he was strong in his strength. Even then he could not stop urinary motion. Just then a cow named Baiju was passing by there.

Ravana politely requested him to hold the Shivling. It is said that Lord Vishnu came to Ravana with the form of Gwal. But the cowherd could not lift the weight of the Shivling for a long time. And he had put Shivling on the earth. Therefore, she was established in the same place for Shivalinga forever. This place is famous by many names - Hriday Peeth, Ravaneshwar Kanan, Rankhand, Haritiki Forest, Chitabhoomi etc.

Lord Vishnu did not want this lord of Shiva to be installed in Lanka by Ravana. While Ravana understood the lila of God. Therefore silently started worshiping Lord Shiva. Other gods also appeared at that place. Everyone offered obeisance to God and duly worshiped and installed the Shivling at that place. Since then this Jyotirlinga was named Vaidyanath. Ravana happily went to Lanka from that place.

After this, all the gods were worrying that what was Ravan going to do in the three worlds with the boon of Lord Shiva. The gods sent Narada to Ravana to find out what destruction he would do. Narada ji entered Lanka and went to Ravana. And told Ravana that you should train the strength provided to you by Lord Shiva.

For this, once you lift Mount Kailash, you can find out how successful this groom is. Hearing this, Ravana pondered and reached Mount Kailash. He had overthrown Mount Kailash using his force. At that time, Lord Shiva was residing on Kailash. Lord Shiva got very angry on this evil of Ravana.

Shiv ji got angry and cursed Ravana and said that you evil Ravan you have a lot of arrogance on your own strength. Therefore, soon on earth, this pride of yours will perish and your incarnation will end. In this way Lord Shiva cursed Ravana. We all saw the effect of curse on Ravana given by Lord Shiva in Ramayana.
